Day 1: MADRID - CORDOBA Departure will be from our scheduled hotels in Madrid. Please check your documentation for pick-up details. Departure to Cáceres, a World Heritage City, architectural mixture of Romanesque, Islamic, Gothic and Italian Renaissance. We will stroll through its old town, Medieval Quarter and its Plaza Mayor. Continue south to Cordoba, once the capital of the Caliphate. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: CORDOBA-SEVILLE Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the impressive Mosque/Cathedral which will relax our minds and spirits to stroll through the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter. Then, after a short ride of about two hours, arrival in Seville. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: SEVILLE Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning monumental and panoramic visit of the city - the Cathedral from the outside, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome. Typical Barrio de Santa Cruz, natural setting of "Carmen" as well as the place where the myth of "Don Juan" was developed. Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. - Free afternoon to discover different perspectives and specific flavors of this active city full of light. Overnight at the hotel. Optional visit of a Flamenco show.
Day 4: SEVILLA-COSTA DEL SOL After breakfast at the hotel departure southbound on the route of the White Villages towards Ronda; free time to admire this city of Celtic origin with wonderful views of the valley and the mountains. In the afternoon continuation to one of the most modern and important areas of international tourist interest, the Costa del Sol. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: COSTA DEL SOL Breakfast and accommodation. Free day in this world-famous tourist enclave, bathed by the Mediterranean and with the mountains at its back. You will be able to enjoy its beaches, considered among the best in Europe, its famous marinas, beach bars and restaurants.
Day 6: COSTA DEL SOL - TARIFA - TANGER - RABAT - CASABLANCA (PM) After breakfast at the hotel departure along the tourist route of the Costa del Sol, via internationally known towns such as Marbella and Puerto Banus, arrival in Tarifa. Boarding the ferry for a short and interesting crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar to Africa. Arrival in Tangier, disembarkation, customs formalities and continuation by coach southbound via Larache to Rabat, diplomatic and administrative capital, official residence of King Mohamed VI. Visit of the most important sites of the city; the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and the unfinished Hassan Tower, all important examples of Almohad architecture. Then, we will continue our trip to Casablanca, industrial and economic capital and the most populated city with 10% of the population. Free time at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: CASABLANCA - MARRAKECH (PM) Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic tour of the most interesting parts of the city, Anfa Boulevard, Place des Nations, residential areas and from the outside the great mosque of Hassan II. Departure to Marrakech. Marrakech capital of the South, located within an extensive oasis between the Atlas Mountains and the pre-desert area. City tour including the Koutoubia Tower, twin of La Giralda of Seville, Saadian Tombs and Bahia Palace, stroll through the medina and souks and the magical Jma El Fna square, full of fortune tellers, snake tamers, acrobats, dancers, all of which makes the city center an open-air theater that requires audience participation. Don't forget your camera. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Optional dinner and show at "Fantasia Chez Ali". Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: MARRAKECH - MEKNES - FEZ Breakfast at the hotel. Departure north-east to Meknes, Imperial City located in the heart of the Middle Atlas and surrounded by 40 kms. of wall. Panoramic visit; we will admire the Bab Al Mansour gate, the most beautiful of Morocco and the most emblematic monument of the city. Continuation to Fez, the most monumental of the Imperial Cities, its University of "Karaouyne" is the largest Islamic sanctuary of Morocco, ancient theological schools, etc.. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: FEZ Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit of the oldest and most monumental of the Imperial Cities visiting the most interesting places: the 7 gates of the Royal Palace, Jewish Quarter or Mellah, Bab Bou Jelous gate and stroll through its grand Medina or old city, declared a World Heritage Site. Afternoon at disposal. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Optional dinner with show.
Day 10: FEZ - COSTA DEL SOL After breakfast at the hotel departure to Tangier. Transfer to the port to board the ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar back to Spain. Continuation to the Costa del Sol. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: COSTA DEL SOL Breakfast and accommodation. Free day in this world famous tourist enclave, bathed by the Mediterranean and with the mountains behind it. You will be able to enjoy its beaches, considered among the best in Europe, its famous marinas, beach bars and restaurants.
Day 12: COSTA DEL SOL-GRANADA Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Granada and its incredible and amazing monumental environment, last stronghold of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada until 1492. Visit of the world famous Alhambra and the Generalife Gardens, fountains, gardens, patios that with their sights and sounds have inspired authors such as W. Irving in his "Tales of the Alhambra". Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. In the evening, optional Flamenco Zambra show in the Sacromonte district.
Day 13: GRANADA - TOLEDO - MADRID Breakfast at the hotel. Departure north to the impressive Imperial city of Toledo - World Heritage Site and cradle of civilizations - where the three cultures, Christians, Muslims and Jews, coexisted. Extract of the art, history and spirituality of the country, the whole city is a National Monument. Interesting visit of the most important monuments, its narrow streets and the technique of the city. Continuation to Madrid and end of our services #trip2spain
