A tour of the best of the capitals of Spain and France respectively, wonderful cities, beautiful and full of life that will not leave anyone who visits them indifferent, numerous monuments and museums accompanied by a gastronomy and landscapes more than outstanding.
Day 1: City of origin - Madrid Arrival in Madrid and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for a first contact with this beautiful city, and enjoy its people, or take a break in some of the many terraces that dot the city, enjoying the lively streets of Madrid. As long as the arrival time of your flight allows it, you will meet your guide at the hotel reception at the end of the afternoon. If you wish, in the evening you can take an optional evening stroll through the most emblematic places of the city, having the opportunity to get into the lively nightlife of Madrid tasting some typical tapas (included in Excursions package and T.I.).
Day 2: Madrid Panoramic tour with local guide of the most characteristic buildings and monuments of the capital of the Kingdom of Spain: the Plazas de la Cibeles, de España and de Neptuno, Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía, Calle Mayor, outside the Plaza de Toros de las Ventas, Alcalá street, Paseo del Prado, Paseo de la Castellana, etc. Rest of the day at leisure to continue exploring the capital of Spain. Also, if you wish, you can make a very complete optional visit to Toledo, in which we will take a bus tour around the perimeter of the city, from which we will have a splendid overview of its artistic heritage and stroll through its most emblematic streets and squares, including the entrance to the interior of the Cathedral, considered one of the masterpieces of Spanish art. As a finishing touch to this day in the evening you can optionally attend a flamenco show (included in Excursions package and T.I.) where we will learn about the musical roots of Spanish art.
Day 3: Madrid - Burgos - Bordeaux Departure to Castilian lands, crossing the Central System, to reach Burgos, the ancient capital of Castile from 1236 until the arrival of the Catholic Monarchs: Burgos. Free time to visit its historic center, where the Cathedral of Santa Maria La Mayor, from the 13th century, is the most representative building of the city. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984. You can also take the opportunity to taste the gastronomic specialties such as black pudding, fresh cheese or the excellent meats of the area. We will continue our way and after passing by the Pancorbo Gorge, we will travel through the Basque Country and the natural reserve of Las Landas, until we reach Bordeaux, the capital of the French region of Aquitaine, famous for having one of the most important river ports in Europe and for its excellent wines.
Day 4: Bordeaux - Chambord - Paris Departure to the Loire Valley, the birthplace of Leonardo de Vinci and home of the famous French Renaissance castles. Free time to visit Chambord, built in the mid-sixteenth century by Francis I to be used as a hunting lodge and which stands in the heart of a forest area surrounded by 31 km of wall. Arrival in Paris. Free time or if you wish you can take an optional tour of Paris Illuminated (included in Excursions package and T.I.). where we can discover a city considered by many the most beautiful in the world.
Day 5: Paris Panoramic tour with local guide: the Place de la Concorde and the Place de l'Opera, the Champs Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe, the St-Germain district, the grand boulevards, etc... Rest of the day at leisure for one of our optional visits such as a tour of the so-called Paris Galleries and the Musée du Parfum or a visit to the Louvre Museum, where we will see one of the best art collections in the world, ranging from the masterpieces of antiquity, such as the Venus de Milo, to the steel and glass pyramid designed by the Chinese-American architect Ieo Ming Pei, which gives access to the museum. In the evening, optional attendance to a Parisian cabaret.
Day 6: Paris Free day to visit one of its many museums or stroll through the different districts of the capital of the Seine.optional excursion to visit the Palace of Versailles (included in Excursions package and T.I.). symbol of the French monarchy in its splendor and model for royal residences throughout Europe. We will discover in our guided tour, in addition to its wonderful gardens, the most famous rooms of the palace as the famous Hall of Mirrors, the royal chapel, the private rooms, etc.. In the afternoon, we will make an optional visit, in which in addition to knowing some of the most monumental places of the city, you can enjoy Paris from another point of view, making a nice boat trip on the Seine in which we will leave in our path some of the most emblematic places of the French capital.
Day 7: Paris - City of destination Free time until the time of transfer to the airport to take the flight to your destination city. Hola España!
