Day 1 - Sunday - Barcelona
Departure: 6:00 pm, Sail Day
Families of Trip 2 Spain get ready to get on board! Barcelona is the meeting point with your group of new friends. You are only a few moments away from starting your journey on this spectacular ship that will take you across the Mediterranean Sea. Once you have completed the boarding procedures, located your cabin and carried out the security protocols, our guide will invite you to a welcome meeting and to take a tour of the ship together, a great floating city! The time will come to set sail and say “See you soon” to the drinks on the beach, to the walks through Gaudi’s architecture, tapas with Serrano ham, to the colors of the Boquería and the artists of the Ramblas! After the first dinner on the ship you will be surprised to see the nightlife on board for all ages. At night you can rest peacefully while we advance through the sea.
Day 2 - Cruising Day
Waking up and looking at the sea is a wonderful experience! After a good breakfast, you can spend the day exploring everything that the ship has to offer. On this sailing day, you get to choose! At the Costa Toscana you can find any activity that is right for you and your family. Our Trip 2 Spain promoter will update you on all the offers you have to enjoy this day. The children will have their activities and so will the adults, you will enjoy the sun, the pool, a good book, a little nap... everything is designed for you to enjoy and relax, what a vacation!
Day 3 - Cagliari
Arrival: 10:00 am / Departure: 8:00 pm
After a delicious breakfast, join us on an excursion where you will get to know the two sides of Cagliari, the modern and the ancient. Our guide will show us the Sardinian capital inhabited since the Neolithic age, its beaches, natural parks and medieval quarters. Let us know if you manage to take a snapshot of a pink flamingo in the natural oasis that is Molentargius-Saline! Together, we will return to the ship to enjoy an afternoon full of activities for all ages, our guide will help you choose if you are in doubt. What a day!
Day 4 - Naples
Arrival: 10:00 am / Departure: 8:00 pm
You have arrived at the south of Italy… Naples! After a delicious breakfast to regain your strength from the day before, you can enjoy this crazy city that is full of life. On our excursion you will get to know Naples like a true local while you eat a pizza portafoglio, and discover, thanks to our local guide, the history of the capuzzelles. Churches, castles, and basilicas will not be missed. And of course, you cannot leave without trying the "sfugliatèlla" and a coffee! Naples is a true paradise for pizza lovers... but don't worry, because once on board, you will be able to burn off those extra calories with all the fun activities that they have prepared for all of you. Life is Beautiful!
Day 5 - Civitaveccha/Rome
Arrival: 8:00 am / Departure: 7:00 pm
If you are in the mode to see a beautiful city, Rome is just around the corner. The ship with be docked at Civitaveccha, a former Etruscan port, which is the seaport for Rome. From the Imperial Forums to the romantic Trevi Fountain, from the Colosseum to the Pantheon, all roads lead here! With your excursion, you will visit the most famous sites of the city, as well as Saint Peter's Basilica in Vatican City. The eternal city where history and culture merge perfectly. Prepare for your excursion with a good pair of shoes and a camera, because you will not be able to stop surprising yourself in this beautiful city. Upon arrival at the ship, you can relax in the SPA, the pool, having a cappuccino or enjoying live music. A complete day!
Day 6 - Genoa
Arrival: 8:30 am / Departure: 6:00 pm
Have you rested and had a delicious breakfast after yesterday? Are you also looking forward to discovering Genoa? We understand you: this city, shy and facing the sea, hides unsuspected beauties that you do not want to miss! Thanks to our excursion you will take a panoramic tour of Genoa, with a local companion who will make you feel like “un de luiatri”, one of them. Enjoy the beautiful views when you get to Boccadasse, the fishing village, a stone's throw from the center. You will have the opportunity to have a panera-flavored ice cream. But what is bread? You will have to find out! And back on the ship and with our Trip 2 Spain guide, we can organize ourselves to enjoy a fun evening on board.
Day 7 - Marseilles
Arrival: 9:00 am / Departure: 6:00 pm
After a complete breakfast, you will be able to get to know this beautiful city in the south of France. Do you already have your excursion? During your excursion you will be able to enjoy this city, which is known to have many fishing traditions, for its old boutiques and its traditional market. You will visit the Longchamps Palace or the Cathedral of Santa María la Mayor, ending in the Old Port or Vieux Port, always accompanied by a guide who will make each destination come to life with the details they provide. Once in our ‘home away from home’, you can continue enjoying the variety of activities for all ages that the ship offers and prepare for our last night on board. Day 8 - Barcelona
Arrival: 8:00 am, Arrival Day
If you were not able to enjoy Barcelona on the first day, you will be able to do so upon your arrival, since the ship will arrive in the city early. It's time for hugs, goodbyes and an exchange of phone numbers. The Trip 2 Spain guide will help you with all issues related to landing.
